Welcome to the
CHEZ PAILLE

LIMOUSIN

Limousin is situated in a southern central area within France and is a County nestling between Aquitaine, Charente and Auvergne. It enjoys the better weather of southern regions and is famous for its tasty beef, mushrooms and fois-gras.

The surrounding countryside consists of mainly rolling hillside, animal pastures, forestry, dairy farms and many pure water springs and is excellent for walking, mountain biking and horse riding.

The areas many lakes and rivers are suitable for swimming, fishing or just sitting near and listening to the ripples chat to the riverbank.
Here you can view beautiful sunsets and spectacularly dark night skies, free from light pollution from large towns and cities.

At Chez Paille Gites we offer a self-catering holiday giving peace and tranquility. But there is plenty for those who prefer active holidays to do.

CHEZ PAILLE

Chez Paille is based in the hamlet of Les Mazeires, together with about 12 other houses.
The property is down a short chemin which leads to only to farmland.

Initially as you go in the gate to your right is house 1. This was the original house which has been renovated and extended to offer a comfortable 3 bed roomed house.
